This is the first app in a series of 6 horse riding/training apps. iHorseRider-1: Lesson one, The Foundation, teaches the basics that all horses should know under saddle. This is a continuation of iHorseTrainer app. The app includes free videos, animation, and troubleshooting.

It also includes something no other app offers: free online personal help through email or FaceBook, with expert horse trainer Randy Byers. He can help you work through any “trouble spots“ that you might encounter with your horse while following this program. The visual drawings will give you clarity on cues and aids. You will learn the how and why of using cues and aids, specifically which cues and aids move which body parts and when and how to use and teach your horse each cue. This includes how to go forward with impulsion, the beginning of collection, and much much more.

This foundation work will set you up for further more advanced movements found in apps 2-6, all to be released in 2010. Follow all six lessons in the series and you will have a finely tuned and finished horse. The exercises are clear, concise, and easy to follow. They are expertly written in a well thought out step by step manner and have been tested and successfully used by many different riders.

Take this app with you to use on the spot while training your horse. If you do each of the following exercises in The Foundation, you will be well on your way to having a well trained trustworthy horse with a rock solid foundation.
